I know I promised this a while back but I finally feel like I’ve used it enough times to offer some insight.
I’ve had my Knork sample for about a week and a half and I LOVE it. It definitely is a lot heavier than my other silverware, which is nice, but the thing I love the most is its main function.
I hate using multiple utensils. This makes me seem silly, but I have issues handling a knife and a fork and am just much more comfortable trying to cut things with the side of my fork. Even foods that don’t have to be cut with a knife are much nicer since it’s less work.
I love it!
P.S. I plan on getting up early tomorrow to try my run before I’m worn out for the day. Hopefully I get up in time!
A few weeks ago I signed up for a free sample on facebook. It doesn’t hurt to try things and if I hate it I’m not out anything.
Mio is a “liquid water enhancer” that you squirt into your water to flavor it. Since I’ve been drinking much more water than ever before, a lot of flavored drinks are just too strong for me. I wasn’t sure about this, but I thought I’d give it a try.
I received my berry pomegranate bottle yesterday. They couldn’t have pegged the perfect flavor for me any better. I was a little nervous about getting something like peach tea (definitely not my style!).
They recommend one squirt per 8 fluid ounces. That means three squirts into my Camelbak Better Bottle (24 fl oz). I decided to start with what they recommend and go from there.
I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor wasn’t horribly strong or weak. I decided to scale it back a little after drinking my first bottle and only did two squirts for three cups of water. It seemed perfect…until I looked at the ingredients list.
I really don’t understand why they insisted on putting dye in this product. While they couldn’t take the cool promotional shots like they did, it seems completely unnecessary.
I feel like there’s too much of a fixation on “zero calorie” products. It would have been so much better if they had used sugar instead of chemical substitutes.
Overall I think this is a product I would use sometimes. It seems like it would be great for travel (if I don’t like the way water tastes I won’t drink as much of it), but I don’t think I’d use it regularly. It just doesn’t seem to justify the fakeness.
P.S. I didn’t receive anything for this review. I signed up for my free sample just like you can by liking their page on facebook.
UPDATE: It looks like they’ve run out of samples already. Hope you got yours!
