Nothing sounded good for breakfast this morning, so I just grabbed a cliff bar out of the pantry.  It was pretty tasty!

All I could think about all morning was a sandwich wrapped in soft bread.  That’s exactly what I had for lunch!

Dinner was a big bowl of macaroni and cheese.

I mixed in some bell peppers to amp up the nutrient power.

A big bowl of comfort food was exactly what I needed!

See you in the morning!

Very quick post from a very worn out Cindy

I seem to be running behind all day today!  I didn’t get a picture of breakfast because it was consumed running out the door, but it was peanut butter on a flour tortilla.  Not very photogenic anyway.

Lunch was quickly eaten in my car because work was so crazy today we took very short lunches.  I grabbed quiznos.

And some sun chips.

I had originally planned to eat millet for lunch (leftover from last night) but I was very thankful it was waiting for me when I got home.

It’s better the first time.

Have a great day!

It’s here It’s here!

I have great news!  But first, Breakfast:

I had a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast.

It held me over super well!  I was surprised.

Lunch was a sandwich.

Unfortunately my turkey was icky looking.  It was more like a salad between two slices of bread.  Not my best lunch.

However, during lunchtime I had a knock on the door.  My camera was here!

I still have lots to learn but so far I’m loving it!

Dinner was a wrap with pre-prepared chicken, swiss cheese, lettuce, and a flour tortilla.  I really wanted cheddar jalapeno tortillas but they didn’t have any!

It was awesome anyway Smile

I’ve got some issues to take care of tomorrow, so I don’t know when I’ll be able to post, but I’ll keep you updated!

Not so healthful

This morning I had some more fresh bread for breakfast.  My dough was starting to get a little old in the fridge so it came out really  ugly.  It wasn’t worth trying to get pictures of.

Lunch on the other hand was pretty awesome.

I made the same sandwich as usual, but instead of romaine I added some spinach.  Yay for nutrients!

I went to the fitness center a few times to try and get my run in but a couple was running on both treadmills every time I went.  I didn’t want to go after dark so I just went back home and ordered pizza Smile

Chicken pizza with green peppers is the best.  Unfortunately the crust didn’t seem as stellar as last time.  It was kind of bland.

I’ll try and do my run tomorrow.

I realized yesterday I’m moving in less than two weeks!  Oh my goodness I have so much to do it’s ridiculous!  Hopefully it’ll all fall together easily

Carb Overload

This morning all I wanted was some fresh bread with butter.

I saw light butter at the grocery store and thought it’d be worth trying.  I’m always open to trying “healthier” products if it means I’ll be cutting back on calories and other not so good for you items.  Truthfully I didn’t really notice much of a difference having it this way,  I hope it’s as good in other applications.

I like to cut the bread in random places and let the butter melt into it.  It was wonderful!  (Btw:  This is a tiny plate.  My roll wasn’t THAT big Smile)

I spent the rest of the morning in bed sipping coffee and listening to John Mayer.  Lazy Saturdays are the best!

My bread held me over for a long time.  I was just getting hungry around 2:30 when my mom called and asked me to run an errand for her.  It took a little bit longer than expected so I was definitely ready for a quick lunch when I got back home at 3:30!

Same basic sandwich as always (I like consistency).

But with as hungry as I was it rivaled my best meals.

While I was out running my errand I stopped at the bulk grocery store and picked up some millet.  It sounded perfect for dinner!

I love making it at a 4:1 ratio because it gets super creamy!  I stirred in some peppers and cheddar cheese.

This definitely made up for my mac and cheese flub yesterday!

It was a pretty good day even if I didn’t get to talk to the boy Sad smile  hopefully tomorrow.

See you tomorrow!

I have no idea why my breakfast pictures are super blurry (hurry up and get here new camera!) but it was wonderful none the less.

I decided to make my breakfast super fun with sprinkles Smile

I’m running low on quick lunch groceries, so I had another sandwich.  It’s okay, I don’t mind, because they taste so wonderfully good!

I have been wanting to try a reheated version of my calzone for lunch for a few days and decided to make a bigger one so I had enough to make two meals.  I had a little trouble rolling out the dough so it’s pretty ugly but it tasted so good!

I can’t wait to have it for lunch tomorrow!

I did not get enough water today.  I just now finished my second bottle for the whole day.  Some days it seems like nine cups of water isn’t much and others it seems like an ocean.  I’m not concerned,  I’ll get enough tomorrow, I just don’t want to make a habit out of it.

I am SO glad tomorrow is Friday.  This has been one rollercoaster of a week!

See you soon!

Lots of Excitement

My goodness, a lot has happened today!  I’ll start from the beginning.

I almost left my camera at home this morning thinking I wouldn’t have a reason to get a picture but last minute decided it would be the day I left it at home that I would miss a great shot.  Check out how lucky I was this morning:

You’ve already seen breakfast.  It didn’t hold me over as well yesterday.  Definitely going back to my trusty oatmeal tomorrow!  Needless to say, by the time it was lunchtime I was ready to go!

I started making a salad, but I’m running low on romaine, so I changed to a sandwich.  It was awesome, especially since I was starving.

Work was super crazy but I got some great news!  Tony will be coming home much earlier than I expected!  Obviously, for security reasons I can’t give an exact date, but it is soon!

I was pretty worn out from my run and wanted an easy prep dinner.  I pulled two lasagna squares out of the freezer and set them to cook while I took a shower.

I’m loving these easy weeknight prep meals.  I’ll have to get some more freezer meals ready so I can do this more frequently.

It was such a crazy day I didn’t do a very good job of keeping track of my calories and was WAY under.  I decided to make an evening snack quesadilla which I didn’t get a picture of because I was too busy cleaning the kitchen while I ate it and forgot.  It was pretty awesome anyway.

So, there’s my day Smile  I’m pretty worn out so I’m going to curl up and watch some tv.

See you tomorrow!
